Technical Description

This laminator is designed and manufactured to the highest standards for use by archivists and conservators and is capable of laminating a wide range of materials quickly and efficiently.

Heating Section

Two heated platens 610mm wide x 670mm long take subjects up to this size for lamination.

Two solid steel rollers 660mm wide for consolidation of laminate and automatic transfer to the receiving tray.

The solid rollers and unique top roller mounting system ensure the maximum consolidation of the laminate, producing a quality far exceeding that of previous machines.

Solid-state proportional temperature control adjustable from 0º C to 140ºC, providing for the use of a wide range of laminating materials including Archibond, B-FIX, Acetate etc.

Timer circuit 1-100 secs which can be set to automatically sound buzzer. This automatically resets on opening the platens.

The laminator can be supplied with the mainframe and front platen frame separate for simple bolting together on site. The machine in this form is easier to install where access may be difficult such as through small size doors or upstairs etc.

A larger version, the SML2 laminator, is available with platens 100cm x 130cm and 96cm wide rollers.
